NexR does not save efforts for distributing cutting-edge technologies and building active communities as well as our business. Through these activities, we will make a model that corporations and community grow together.

Korean Hadoop Community(in Korean)

Founded in 2006, it is the only Hadoop community in South Korea. We open regularly off-line tech seminars and Hadoop tutorial workshops with online community supports aming for expansion of Hadoop users.

PlatformDay Conference(in Korean)

This is a conference that is specialized to Hadoop technology, launched in 2007. It covers technical issues and application cases of Hadoop and cloud computing platforms, and makes a place where platform engineers can discuss with others and share corp-internal technologies.

Consortium of Cloud Computing Research(in Korean)

An association to lead research of cloud computing, whose chairman is Jaesun Han, the CEO of NexR. The main focus of the association is to spread cloud computing technologies. As a result, we opened the first cloud test-bed in KAIST to provide cloud resources to universities.

CCI:U (Cloud Computing Initiative for University)

Universities can rent computing resources at free of charge for their courses and labs that uses Hadoop and distributed systems. We developed CCI:U Open Course Labs that comes with general functionalities such as management of VM instances, students/teams, assignments, bbs.
